— a little about me
Where poetry meets faith, and every heart finds hope.
What inspired me to write in this different style? It all started as a teenager. My life has been shaped by profound loss, difficult relationships, personal mistakes, and doors I should never have allowed to open. I have known the heartbreak of losing two beloved children and the pain of a marriage that brought its own challenges.
Through it all, I have come to understand how easily sin can find its way to our doors. It can be unseen, persuasive, and destructive. Yet by the grace of God, I am still here to share my story and the lessons I have learned. My hope is to remind readers that our choices matter, that we are accountable for our actions, and that we can choose a path that leads toward healing rather than destruction.
The story of Cain in Genesis reminds us that temptation is never far away, but we are called to exercise wisdom and self-control. It does not matter where we come from or what community we belong to: every one of us faces choices. My own experiences have taught me to turn away from what can harm us and to hold on to what brings life, compassion, and peace.
My story, my inspiration
Writing became a way to release pain, make sense of difficult experiences, and seek comfort. Over time, that personal outlet grew into a purpose: to share my testimony, encourage others, and offer a reminder that no season is beyond the reach of hope. I have faced the loss of my children, a difficult marriage that ended in divorce, identity theft, and even the experience of being arrested because of another man's wrongful actions. These unexpected chapters left a lasting mark on my heart, but they also deepened my understanding of faith, forgiveness, compassion, and personal responsibility.
Thank you, readers, for your support. I love you all. Be blessed, keep striving to stay above the water, and remember that you are not alone.
“If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.”Genesis 4:7 · King James Version
